Hearing impairment person with hearing aid use needed more help B-ADL s dressing, and I-ADL s telephone use, shopping, drug management, money management and using transportation compared to hearing impairment person with hearing aid non-use(p<.05). As a result of correlation analysis between ADL area, age, and disability grade, the level of correlation coefficients of I-ADL areas was higher than that of B-ADL areas.

Conclusion : According to gender and hearing aid of older adults with hearing impairment, differences of specific areas of ADL were found, and it was found that the problem of I-ADL were serious as the aging progressed than B-ADL. Based on these results, we suggest that community-based occupational therapy programs for the improvement of ADL performance in older adults with hearing impairment are needed.
